Patty Barkas' voice is an instrument of passion, mysticism, and daunting beauty. This atmospheric siren sifts together acoustic elements with tinges of industrial psychedelia that provide the perfect back drop for her vocal centric weavings, that are in one moment softly ethereal, and in the next, charged with soaring intensity.

This elusive luminary has recorded and toured nationally and internationally with the region's most notable veterans and newcomers ranging from the eccentric, alt rock madness of The Bentmen, to the acoustic venues of Greg Greenway, and Laurie Geltman, to Rubyhorse, Peter Wolf (of J. Geils Band), RTZ (Brad Delp of Boston), November Group, Laurie Sargent, and Face To Face, naming a few. This diverse exposure has gained her a wide eclectic audience wanting more of her unique vocal presence.  Until this solo effort, you have yet to experience Patty in her truest form. This new project is her passionate response as she emerges from "featured back up diva" to become the image weaver of her own vision.
